Looking at the construction industry with fresh eyes, it was clear there was a better way to go about it.
So I pulled together an allstar team to
change things.

Back in 2016 I had a big problem.

I had launched my superfood quickserve restaurant, everbowl. People loved it. No problem there.

However, each restaurant cost between $250,000 and $350,000 to build! This made scaling quickly and profitably nearly impossible, unless of course I wanted to risk more money per location, or take on significant debt! Two things I had no interest in doing.

Everybody in the industry assured me that this was just the way it was…. However, I’m not the kind of guy to accept the status quo!

So naturally, I started a construction and fabrication company focused on disrupting the restaurant and franchise industry, with zero construction experience mind you…. I couldn’t put together Legos, let alone build an entire restaurant!

But, by assembling an all-star team, we set out to build a retail location UNDER six figures — instead of multiple six figures.

Today, WeBuild lets me build two, three, even four restaurants for the price of one,
which allows us to scale fast and pass on the savings to our franchisees.

Starting out, I knew nothing about construction.
Give me a hammer or screwdriver and I’m clueless.
But like I always say, experience is overrated.

If you wait around building the experience you think you need to enter a new industry, you’ll be waiting a lifetime. It’s tempting to believe that you need to learn one more thing or work one more year. Years can be wasted waiting, instead of doing.

But here’s the thing…

If you want to start a company, experience isn’t a prerequisite. In fact, it’s entirely overrated. If you are willing to let go of your ego and surround yourself with incredible talent, experience is a non-issue.

Like I said, when I launched WeBuild, I knew nothing about construction… Zip. Nada. But I knew there was an abundance of qualified, talented human beings who did.

My job? To seek them out and bring them on board. And I did just that using the principle of Relationship Capital.

any industry with zero experience and succeed.
